Privacy policy

Grantzo provides an AI grant-writing service for Australian community organisations. Grantzo handles personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

This policy explains what Grantzo collects, why it collects it, and the choices you have. It is written in plain English.

Account details: your name and email address when you create a workspace.

Newsletter email: your email address if you sign up for funding updates.

Documents you upload: your organisation's information and the funder documents you provide so Grantzo can draft applications.

Usage data: basic logs and analytics needed to run and secure the service.

To create, improve and support your grant drafts.

Grantzo does not sell your personal information, and does not use your uploaded documents to train public AI models.

Grantzo uses trusted providers to run the service, including its hosting and database provider (Supabase) and its AI provider (Anthropic). They process information only to provide their service to Grantzo, under confidentiality obligations.

Grantzo may disclose information if required by law.

Account data and uploaded documents are stored in a database hosted in Australia (Sydney region). Some processing, such as generating draft text, may occur on servers located overseas, including the United States. Grantzo takes reasonable steps to keep your information secure, including access controls and encryption in transit.

You can ask to access the personal information Grantzo holds about you, and ask Grantzo to correct it, by emailing admin@grantzo.com. You can delete drafts and documents from your workspace at any time.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting Grantzo.

If you have a privacy concern, email admin@grantzo.com and Grantzo will respond. If you are not satisfied with the response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

Grantzo may update this policy from time to time. The date above will change when it does.
